김승룡 대표는 30년 동안 소방에 몸담으며 수많은 재난 현장을 지켰고, 제7대 소방청장으로 국가 재난 대응을 이끌었습니다. 그 현장에서 반복해서 확인한 것은, 위기는 예고 없이 오지만 결과는 언제나 평소의 준비가 결정한다는 사실이었습니다.

Seung-ryong Kim served 30 years in Korea’s fire service, on the front line of countless disasters, and led the nation’s disaster response as the 7th Commissioner of the Korea National Fire Agency. Time and again, the field confirmed one truth: a crisis gives no warning, but its outcome is decided by the preparation made long before it arrives.

30년 동안 소방에 몸담으며 저는 수많은 재난의 현장을 지켰습니다. 제7대 소방청장으로 국가 재난 대응을 이끌며 얻은 교훈은 하나입니다. 위기는 예고 없이 오지만, 그 결과는 언제나 평소의 준비가 결정한다는 것입니다.

오늘 기업이 마주한 위기는 하나의 얼굴로 오지 않습니다. 화재와 산업재해, 기후재난, 공급망 붕괴, 사이버 공격, 평판 위기가 서로 얽혀 한꺼번에 밀려옵니다. 이런 복합위기 앞에서 기업을 지키는 것은 서랍 속의 매뉴얼이 아닙니다. 실제로 움직이는 조직의 역량입니다.

Over 30 years in Korea’s fire service, I stood on the front line of countless disasters. As the 7th Commissioner of the Korea National Fire Agency, I led the nation’s disaster response, and that experience left me with one enduring lesson: a crisis gives no warning, but its outcome is always determined by the preparation made long before it arrives.

Today’s corporate crises rarely arrive one at a time. Fires and industrial accidents, climate events, supply-chain disruption, cyberattacks and reputational damage now converge and compound one another. Against risks like these, what protects a company is not a plan sitting on a shelf. It is an organization that can actually execute under pressure.

CRISINTEL was founded on a single question: “When a crisis hits, will our organization actually perform?” We combine frontline disaster-response experience with data and AI to assess five domains: governance and leadership; field protocols and initial response; high-reliability culture and early warning; data and AI intelligence; and business continuity and resilience. We assess each of these pillars objectively, and we report uncomfortable findings as candidly as reassuring ones.
